Stupa Inauguration 2007: Website updates on the Danish site

We always start and finish all work on the stupa by singing three mantras: 9 Gayatri, 3 Prabhu Aapa Jago and 7 Medicine Buddha.

Outer Wall
The outer wall of the platform foundation is completed.



Cement was poured on top of the foundation.
A ceremony was held with Arati, singing and playing drums to celebrate its completion.

Four shelves
Four shelves are being formed where several hundred Medicine Buddha statues will stand.


Lots of Medicine Buddha statues were made during the summer camp.

Twelve niches
Twelve niches for storing various relics are being constructed.

Cutting Bricks
Some bricks must first be cut to size to fit into the structure.



Construction work of the nine lotus leaves is underway.

The tiles for the mosaic floor are broken into suitable sizes.

Work has begun on the mosaic floor down at the bottom of the stupa, three meters underground.



Swirling out from the center are four spirals with colors for each of the four corners of the world.

oak tree pole
The oak tree pole is being worked on and will hold the crystal and will support the copper tubing.


The crystal will be placed in a hollow near the base while the four copper tubing will lay in grooves coiling up around the pole.
