Stupa Inauguration 2007
The dome with the two triangles, representing the masculine and feminine, the heavens and the earth, form together the Star of David. The twelve hearts, one heart for each month, point out from the center into the world forming a full life circle. |

The nine lotus leaves symbolise perfect purity and the four bands above the leaves represent the four elements. |

The lotus leaf model is being shaped in plaster.
From a final mold all the leaves will be poured in concrete.

The hollow for the crystal in the oak tree pole is coated in gold leaf. |

This is the model depicting a twelve-pointed star. Here it is in place on top of the dome. The dome ceiling will be patterned after the star. |

The top of the dome is completed. The oak tree pole will be lowered down through the hole in the middle of the star adorning the dome ceiling. |

Arati ceremony was held where various items where walled into the top of the dome: Medicine Buddha statues, a flower mala from AnandaMayiMa’s samadhi, ashes from Bhavatam puja at Sacha Dham, a khata from H.H. Dalai Lama, money, rice, Ganges water, elephant dung, handwritten Prahbu Aapa Jago prayers and a double dorge. |
