Sunshine coast Satsangh with ShantiMayi

Dear Sangha,
We are blessed to have our guru ShantiMayi come to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland,  [the east coast of Australia] this year in august for a 2 weeks of Satsangh, and a possibility of an 3 day intensive. As ShantiMayi has not been here before this is a huge blessing for the area we so dearly love. As we have not so many disciples here [2], we will try our best to help with accommodation and travel from the airport to the coast [1.5 hours], and any other information that will be required.

The sunshine coast is 120 kilometers north of Brisbane airport, and is a strip of beach that is broken up with some headlands and esteries.This coast has three major towns Caloundra in the south, Marochdore in the centre to Noosa in the north. It has many modes of accommodation from motels and hostels [for back packers for travelers ], to hotels of 5 star accommodation, and all in between. [A site for this is www.noosa.com.au]

From Brisbane there is The Sunair Bus that can pick you up from the airport [this leaves the airport each and every hour from 6.00am to 9.00pm ] and delivers you to your accommodation for $44.00 one way. [www.sunair.com.au]
Accommodation can range from about $12 per night at the back packers to $100 and up, for some of the up market accommodation

There are 2 places that ShantiMayi will be giving satsangh, Coolum and Eumundi and these both have camping sites with in a 2 minute walk from the halls [approx $12 per un powered site].

Eumundi  in the country, 15 minutes from the coast and  in a quiet  small village that gets extremely busy on wednesday and saturday market days, an exceptional cultural experience. The camping ground is across the road from the anahata yoga temple where the Satsangh will be, and a 5 minute walk to town.

Coolum is a village  on the beach and has a great family atmosphere and great beach. The camp ground also is on the beach and a 2 minute walk to the hall that ShantiMayi will give Satsangh in.
